This was posted on espn, but below are 2 categories that RGM led in, hopefully 2009 and a Toyota will change this:
# Fewest quality passes: Robby Gordon with 353. Hard to make many quality passes if you rarely run in the top 15, which Robby did only 3.6 percent of the time.
# Worst average running position: Robby Gordon at 30.770. But he was the best closer (improving his position in the last 10 percent of a race) at plus-2.389. Maybe Robby should learn to do that sooner.
The 2nd stat shows that his cars suck Friday through the 1st 200 miles on Sunday and then they finally figure it out. Hopefully they can improve on this big time next year.
