2009 Infineon Race Weekend Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekends activities at Infineon for RGM. There will be 2 team cars for RGM this weekend, PJ Jones in the #04 and of course Robby Gordon in the #7. First practice is on Friday, June 19, 3:00 - 4:30 pm/et, live on SPEED.Qualifying is also on Friday, June 19 at 6:35pm/et,live on SPEED. There are 2 practices on Saturday, June 20,12:30 - 1:15 pm/et and from 1:50 - 2:50 pm/et,both live on SPEED. Race Coverage of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2009 TNT at 5:00 pm/et; pre-race show at 3:30 pm/et; green flag approx 5:16pm/et.Post here or follow the race on raceday chat.

Im all gitty two RGM cars. This is what we've all wanted for so long a wing man for Robby. Now Its about smart driving and fuel mileage...and fenders considering Q-spots.

can someone please educate me as to how race trim is dfferent than qualifying trim at a road course?

Use RGs pitcrew for both teams. One can pit a lap before the other.

Congrats to RGM for getting two cars in....as stated before I think that was a nice FU back at NASCAR. Fine me? I'll put PJ in my back up and earn 3x times your fine.

The good news..they have 3 hours of practice tommorow to get the car in top 10 shape...it will be fun watching the charge early on in the race.....he will spend his car doing it..but he'll get everything out of it........

The qualyfying this year surprised me a bit...i thought top 10...I resigned to the fact after last year that alot of teams have caught him and a few have passed him...shows on the track.....but its still fun to watch Robby on the road courses.....if he gets a top 10 Sunday thats a good finish and accomplishment.....

I thought the car looked not so good on the qualifying run...he couldn't put power down....they'll get it figured out tommorow..the car will race well Sunday.....

Just Curious i was at a baseball game during qualifying and all that. Is the 7 team going to pit for the 04 as well. And is the 04 a back-up to the 7?

nope the 04 team has the off road pit crew, yes the 04 is the backup car for the 7 so.... let's hope robby and pj keep the car clean. there are no back-up cars
