2009 Loudon Race Weekend Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekend action from Loudon. Many Planet members will be attending the race, so we wish them all the best, and hope they share their stories here.First practice is on Friday, June 26th, from 12:00 - 1:30 pm/et, live on SPEED. Qualifying is also on Friday, at 3:10 pm/et , also live on SPEED. Second practice is on Saturday, June 27th, from 9:00-9:50 am/et and Happy Hour practice is from 11:45 am-12:45 pm/et,both live on SPEED. Race Coverage of the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2009 live on TNT at 2:00 pm/et; pre-race show at 12:30 pm/et; green flag approx 2:16pm/et.Live raceday chat will be on Sunday as well, so either post here or join us there.

39th....don't know just how we looked or what he was actually doing in practice but if you are going to go off speeds?? well we are slow

For todays practice, I am only worried about Happy Hour speeds.

got a good pit stall in that the 37 is behind us....should lead to an open/easy entry into our when we're on the lead lap whihc in theory should give us a clear exit regardless of what the 88 does

now all we have to do is survive without going down a lap within the first 50 laps

shouldnt be an issue.... even at .5 a lap slower than the leader it would take 50+ laps....and we will not be that slow for that many straight laps...add in there will most likely be a cuaiton (not us!) and double file after that....should be good **fingers crossed**

Robby needs to gain position as soon as possible. Can't wait until the end to move up. Folks will be playing the rain-game tomorrow. It's supposed to rain in the morning, then possible thunderstorms all afternoon. So there's a good chance the race may start late and be called at any time. Forecast is the same for all next week too, so they will do everthing they can to get the race in tomorrow.
