Qualifying is also on Friday, at 3:10 pm/et , also live on SPEED. Second practice is on Saturday, June 27th, from 9:00-9:50 am/et and Happy Hour practice is from 11:45 am-12:45 pm/et,both live on SPEED. Race Coverage of the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2009 live on TNT at 2:00 pm/et; pre-race show at 12:30 pm/et; green flag approx 2:16pm/et.Live raceday chat will be on Sunday as well, so either post here or join us there.

Nascar would not have called it if Robby was leading.
I will never believe this. I think they call it faster for some but I don't believe they will not call it if Robby is leading.
I would acknowledge we got away with one and Nascar blew it...but enjoy the top 5. Even if that was us in VL..Id be ecstatic....but I would comment that Nascar should have tried to finish it given this race's circumstances.
all togrther today was a good day. to get a 25th place finish with as bad of a car was a gift. you can look back on stratagy all you want, but shit happens. the car sucked but we did the best and kept fiting all day. on to daytona
The car didn't suck on the long runs. I thought the car and strategy were fine today.

look at lap tracker results..your comments about a bad car are unfounded and not true........track position,rained out qualifying and crappy luck were factors for a 25 place finish.......Robby was one of the faster cars most of the race...low tire pressure was not comfortable for him......
What I was impressed with today was the outstanding pitstops, some of the better stops of the year.Not just one good stop, but all the stops were great(excluding a planned long stop early in the race ) .
Yes, Kudos to them. I've given them grief this year but a tip of the cap and a sip of the beer to those guys yesterday!

I'll cut them a litle slack next week no matter what as with a RP..they realistically only need to hold serve or be close to holding serve.
your right the car was fast on the long runs, but that dosnt mean it didnt suck, just ask Robby how the car was. we would loose soo much on the restarts that it would negate the speed we had in the long runs, we would loose 5 positions in the first few laps and spend the next 30 gaining them back. with the COT track position is key cuz no one can pass. trak position and clean air are just soo damn important with the COT. considering how ill handeling the car was whole weekend i think 25th is a good finish. the crew dug down had some fast pitstops and we made the best of a bad situation. now its time for a win at daytona!
Well I know that alot of us try to be the crew chief from our computers chairs,,, I'll give my opinion on something.
RGM should probably start using more tires during practice. How many times this year has Robby had a fast car on the long runs? This is usually a good thing to have but when you loose so many spots on a restart.....
I'm interested to hear Robby's comments on the day. He really had a Top 20 car, but pit strategies, the timing of caution flags and rain pushed him back to 25 which isn't that bad considering the low expectations most of us had after Saturday's practices.

Just one arguement to the tire comments: While it would seem that scuffs would be a good idea, Robby's lap times would fall off sooner than everyone running on stickers and possibly lose out on longer runs. However, I would be interested to know if anyone else was getting scuffs instead of stickers to prove one of us wrong. Too bad TNT would never report anything like this.

Overall I think TNT did a pretty piss poor job of anything outside of the Top 10 and the poster boys of NASCAR.
It wasnt so much that, it was going as long as they could on their fuel run to catch a caution while the others had already pitted. They just happened to be leading before they pitted.And with the new wave around rule, its worth it to try and stay out as long as possible,even when you might lose a few ticks to fresher tires.
