Qualifying 4:30 - 6:00 pm/et 29th Quickest

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7th

Practice 9:45 - 10:30 am/et 41st Quickest
Happy Hour 11:00 am - 12:00 pm/et 7th Quickest

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8th

Pre-race at 1:00 pm/et TV - ABC
Green Flag 3:30 pm/et Finished 27th

The first run was awesome, up to 15th before pit stops. Even had a good stop, came out 18th? Not sure what went south after that. I started to doze off and every time I awoke it seemed he was down another lap. Still a 27th finish is better than one in the 30s. Things are looking up.

Track changed as it cooled. Mostly Air pressure adjustments. The 2nd to last stop caused the car to be real tight. There was a 1lb air pressure adjustment (there was some talk about the wrong tires were put on the right side, but I never confirmed that). The car lost about a second a lap after that one. That caused the #7 to go 2 laps down. Rob then had to top off with fuel and took 2 tires and went 3 laps down. I was pleased to see relatively minor adjustments with Doug. The 7 never went for those 3 rounds in type stops. Probably should have left the rubber in the left rear... Other then that it was a 27th place finish that could have been a top 15 instead of a 27th place finish that should have been a 34th if that makes sense.
