Agreed... I was just kid'n
Nice comeback! One of these days......
It's too bad NASCAR doesn't give teams some time a day or two before the race to actually run some laps on the track so they can identify problems like a PS pump before the race starts. Oh, what's that? Teams do have that opportunity? Oh, well, ummmmm... never mind.
Possible he could have run 100 laps on Saturday and not had a problem with it? Could it have had a 'slow' leak to it,and not been a problem if the race ran on Sunday ? ( I am not a power steering pump expert , so I dont know )
Several mechanical problems this weekend. Very discouraging. Wasn't practice ruined on Friday by a parts failure as well? Yes, yes it was.

You can never really know when the nail is going to fall out of the horse shoe though....
had the same thought...course it can be a two-edged deal...run too many laps and you end up with kaboom. Still, put some laps on the thing and you'll find stuff like faulty tranny brackets...wait..that did happen....lol
that happened before they turned one lap.
Or the team could have decent parts mileage program in place that tracks which parts have how many miles them...oh wait...the got shit canned when jlow got released.
Soooo what your saying is parts like pwr strng, alternators, water pumps, rear gears, master cyl, oil coolers, etc...these things can't run the whole season? So why is it you think these things aren't replaced in a reasonable timeframe?
bud.......they have a better parts mileage system than they ever had....the transmission is supplied by an outside vendor....treat it just the same as an engine failure or a tire failure............thats the deal.............jlow didnt handle that anyway..........................hell when he was there most parts had no numbers.....................
Gotta love them dash numbers... He He Ha ha
just passed POS for 33rd in points...way to go!
