Get off at the next stop? If it wasn't for the consistent support of fans such as myself and the others here on this site, Robby, & you for that matter, wouldn't be able to do this. "Either support through good and bad..." when was the last good, & a fast lap in practice doesn't count? For years, all the way back to IMSA days Robby has always performed to the best of his ability. If he hasn't been able to get what he felt was the best out of the situation he moved on. Why can't we as his fans and supporters expect that now? He hasn't put his best stuff out on a Cup track in years, save road courses. TOG, your comment about getting off at the next stop is perhaps part of the problem; the thought process has become if they don't like it then they can just leave...that's what sponsors and fans are doing, leaving because the product, both Robby and NASCAR as a whole, has become bad save the top team for each make. If you don't produce a good product then sooner or later, I don't care how loyal your fans are, you'll be completely forgotten about and sitting on the sidelines.
But the race isn't until Sunday. Maybe you should chill some until then.
The race starts when they unload from the trucks. HMS doesn't wait until Sunday....
But practice doesn't mean "go faster than everyone else". It's a time to, well, fucking practice. Certainly a car that kicks ass all practice long will have a good shot at running a good race, but if that's all it took, then we could cancel the race all together and just declare a winner based on practice and qualifying.

All I'm saying is that we haven't lost until the race is done. And no one else has won until then either.
Nope, new this year....you get 5 extra bonus points for winning practice each week....lol
I'm with you TOG. I'm here with the good and bad. Disappointed - sometimes but I try to only get upset for things I can control. I can't control RG's speed.

This is not IMSA, CART, SCORE, or DAKAR. It is NASCAR! Some say that it is the toughest in the world. There are many cases where folks have been at the top and haven't done much in NASCAR. There have been drivers who have done great in NASCAR and haven't done much elsewhere. Yes, I think NASCAR with managed competition and IROC rules have been killing it.

This is not just RGM, we live in a free economy, "if they don't like it then they can just leave." Do you have a fundamental problem with our free economy?

Give the guy and the team some slack. Criticism is okay as long as it is constructive. Can you help him lift the splitter or help Triad find add a few horsepower? If so, I'm sure the team and this forum would love the hear your ideas.

I support RG through the good and bad.

Mike- Get off at the next stop is basically me saying turn the channel on Sunday if you think it sucks so much.You have him written off before the race has begun.yes the car unloaded like crap,but the problem they had yesterday cant be fixed inbetween practice and qualifying. They need all day on Saturday to get it going.

Must be plowing up the track all weekend with that splitter...since he's still slower than dirt..
Like I tried to tell people, it was not a horsepower issue...
good. The motor program has been good since the Triad switch.
