As much as I love crediting Gene, its the guys back at the shop that do the hard work. When they show up at a plate track, they "got what they got" so to speak. Robby was able to catch the pack and bust off a good lap like he always does. TOG says the car is good and handles good so i believe him. Looking forward to the race. I really don't care where he qualifies. It only really matters for pit selection as RG will probably be in the back for the majority of the race. I would love a pole, but cars that race well typically wont qualify well for RGM so lets just see what tomorrow brings and look forward to raceday.
The Special Green Fuel also helps....
Amen Brother! The team has done a great job with the superspeedway cars. Hats off to them!

Remember, this is race trim and this is an impound race so there is no reason to think that they will tinker with the car too much for qualifying. I hate to say it, but this race often comes down to pit strategy and fuel strategy. Can't wait to hear the chatter between Gene and Robby under caution with 10-15 laps to go deciding to pit or not pit, four tires, two tires or fuel only.
the guys in the booth may not have cared about Robby being the fastest but there's an article about him on speedtv.com
Thank for the heads up.
That lap was very important........huge boost too everyone at RGM. To know that the Dega car can lay down a lap like that , WOW , Robby knows he has the goods under him to make the " MOVE " . YES that was a huge lap. Once agian nice job at the shop, fab guys, its fast in the air......TRIAD motor works. Great race commin..........................
Has anybody asked the BIG question. Is Bobby Labonte going to be on Speedfactory this week???????
yes, there will be some Labonte in this weeks episode.
Right-on Tog, thanks
The top five didnt pass away its get'n bigger even, the 7's fastest for right now and the planets army is content. Heres to a great 4th of July but first a better 3rd...............go get'um RGM. Oh and hey do me a favor thank a vet any vet even if you dont know them this weekend walk over and say thank you. I know there are atleast a few planet members who have served or are in service now, THANK YOU to all of them, no matter the duty or how long ago the your war was fought, I understand your hard work keeps me safe alive and free.
Very nice. Thank you and I could not agree more. Happy Independence Day everyone. Be safe and GAS ON RG!!!
Can anyone at the track (or associated with the team) confirm whether the track starting to tear up again? Heard a few people grumbling about the patched area not holding.
