Nah,once is a fluke, twice would be skill, and Robby is going in for the kill! Least that's what i'm hoping for,Robby doesn't win, least he'll make the race worth watching.
Robby made it buy the trailer at 1:15 today and I was lucky enough to meet him. Great guy, took the time to talk with me and my son and a picture before it got to crasy with autograph seekers ( like me ). PJ was also there.
There are a miilion cool autograph stories on this site. Robby loves his fans, and his fans love him. Nobody in that garage has near the number of cool autograph stories, because nobody gives their fans more personal time than Robby. Robby is the most humble sports professional you will ever meet. If you don't have a cool Robby autograph story, you haven't tried to get a Robby autograph. Period.
Remember folks the numbers that scroll across the tube are fastest lap not averages. Jayski has speed averages and sad to say Ambrose was tops 92.292 Jimmy Johnson 91.719 Burton 91.450
Burton and Jimmy were running 20 + laps also how many in a row I don't know. We had an average of 90.562
9 laps of practice......the operative word here is "practice" and I don't think anybody "practices" brushing their teeth but at the same time would know they don't like the brush the wife got them the first few stokes. So i'd say solid laps, straight fenders, fuel, and breaks that are still biting at the end are what we can count on. Not beating Ambrose and a 92 1:16 all day. Just sayin'
I don't think today's lap times are going to tell all for tomorrow. Robby races hard. Today was not the race. I think we are going to see a good show tomorrow!
Go Robby! Keep it straight! Stay on the track! Stay cool and bring home the gold!
