Robby Gordon Martinsville Preview

Charlotte, NC (March 25, 2010) – The No. 7 Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Camry speeds into Martinsville Speedway this weekend with high hopes after recording a season-best finish of 22nd at Bristol Motor Speedway last week. After an unlucky start to the 2010 season, the team looks forward to the challenge of recording another strong finish at the 0.526-mile short track to obtain a spot within the top-35 Sprint Cup Series owners’ points.

Robby’s Thoughts – “Martinsville Speedway is different from any other track on the Sprint Cup circuit,” commented Gordon. “Its tight corners and flat banking present a whole different set of challenges from every other short track that we visit. Not only is it a tough track on the driver, but it’s also hard on equipment. I’m confident in my team’s ability, and I’m sure that they built the Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Toyota Camry to the challenges of Martinsville.”

I wouldnt think so. If it was a Monster sponsored race , then he could do appearances at stores that sell it, etc , like he did at Daytona & Las Vegas
ok, I am taking my 4year old to his first race, and wanted him to see who Daddy pulls for
Didn't know they sell Monster at Hooters!?!
A few buddies of mine were in Daytona either at a restaurant or bar, probably a sports bar, they told me an obnoxious looking Monster car pulls up to the front and their first thought was "Who is this idiot?"

Out pops Rob who starts tossing Monster cans to the people outside.

My buddy did say Rob stalled the car in the parking lot and had this sheepish look on his face. But it was great to hear another story about Rob bonding with the Joe and Jane Sixpacks.
Karen- Man's gotta eat !
Yes,It was noted on Monday by blackjack6598 on Sir Alex's Martinsville Spring Entry List post.
Gilly is plenty capable of putting that car in the fence , just like Conway is.
nope. They usually scratch qualifying in that case.
it looks like a decent chance of rain on qual day. I hate to hope for rain, but i would be sick if he doesnt make it in on time.
Rain = lots of dogs

I'm hungry.
Checked ebay, people selling tickets for as low as $15 per ticket for Sunday. Wish I could go. Here's to a good weekend Robby, it does not look like any rain today. Put that baby in the show!
