2010 Planetrobby Fan Car Idea

 

With well over 7,500 members on Planetrobby.com, if 7,000 members would donate $25.00 towards a fan appreciation sponsorship for Planetrobby.com, we could raise $175,000.00 and sponsor a race for Robby!

 

If TOG could set up a donate button with Pay Pal we could launch this deal and buy a race for Robby & TOG from his fans.

I am sure nascar will have something in the works for all the teams.

According to google analytics, we have had people access this site from Haiti this month , and at least 5 different people at different times during the 2009 season. So , they could be americans in haiti , or Haitian locals. Either way, nascar fans are everywhere,and I hope nascar does something, like a sticker on all the cars.

Despite the sentiments against such a move, Robby's pride yadda yadda, he's done a lot for his fans and it's natural that we want to give back. I'd throw in $25, even though I'd have to take it from my electric bill. If there's anything I could do for him, I'd be there in a heartbeat. And the Planet logo is just so cool... So while we've been down this road, it's hard to come up with other ways we can stand behind RG. Any other ideas??

yes Vak, there are a few things in the planning that will be a win/win for anybody who wishes to participate. i cant give any more details just yet,other than it will only cost $7 , and thats optional.

If Robby gets to the point where his fans have to fund him to race instead of a multimillion dollar company, its time to hang it up and do something else.

He doesn't NEED our money... we don't HAVE to fund him. Even if we threw together the $$$ for one race, it's not an answer to the overall economic realities. It's merely a way we can say we're behind ya, buddy. No matter what.

agree with Jackie - RG doesn't need our money, just our gripes during the season about (fill in the blank here....) jk

going to completely bogart this thread, but I'm kind of liking how the spoiler might look on these cars. The wing was just wrong and was taking Nascar ever further away from its "stock car' looks.

Well that's not an actual spoiler as I'm sure you know, thats a photoshop or in this case (paint?) job.
But it does look much more natural.
