Really? You're going to bring a tragedy like that into something as miniscule as people wanting RG to do good? That makes no sense... Everyone here wants to see RG do good and TOG is kind enough (along with all the mods like yourself) to give us this opportunity to be an even bigger fan of RG's. Seeing as we are all RG fans, we can vent. I know for a fact this morning here at work (Yup at work right now, 6:20 here on the east coast) that I will be saying to all the idiotic Dale Jr Fans, that RG will finish better than Jr. this weekend! I might not say it here on the forum, but hell I'm a fan and gotta promote the man, myth and legend that is RG to everyone else within NASCAR.
.
I'm happy, but, what was the thinking in not even practicing the first half and running 5 laps, why not roll out at the beginning of practice and then look for speed the rest of the time remaining?
Start last finish maybe last again,or maybe 37th..........not a good race by my thinking anyway.......
Hey Mike - it is awesome Robby is running the complete show! I just think many of us would love to see our favorite be more competitive. That makes sense right? I think we can run top 20! Go Rob!
I personally wasn't worried about Robby, locked in, but this would have been a good time to have 2 cars in. Look at all the TV time SPEED Energy got in prac. & qual. and exposure is what SPEED needs. Now you can blast me.
+1
The bad news is the #77 did not make the show. The good news is the #77 full qualifying package was faster then the #7 locked in qualifying package. I dont think Wimmer or any other driver could have done any better with the #77. Now RGM knows their Go or Go Home qualifying package needs some work before their next attempt at bringing a second car or before the #7 will be in that situation later this year.
Are you for real, junk did not q and went home, RG Q last and did not learn a thing from go home junk..............
I think there's gotta be better ways to market SPEED than backmarking in nascar.
On another subject that don't belong on this thread, what is RHR doing in the Indy thing,$$$$$$ make's you somebody and I can race in the back with the best of them-----------WOW
Exposure! There are alot of veiwers that don't know what place a car is running , but if they can at least be aknowledged it's better than none at all , and thats what Robby usually gets from from NASCAR media who are always exstoling the virtues of the Prince's of NASCAR. They talked about Kimi all morning and never once mentioned that he wrecked Rob's RC car.
