Did Newman punch Montoya during a meeting in the NASCAR hauler? This could get intresting.
Because even 43rd place will pay out between $65,000 and $75,000. Your not going to get rich S&P, but it can help keep the doors open and the lights on.
Like TOG said what makes business sense for RGM is what Robby will do. If you think about it, Darlington is not that far away from the shop. I would think tracks that are within several hours of NC, you might see RGM S&P many of the races they are not scheduled to race at. But even 43rd place money might not be enough to cover the cost of S&P and traveling across the country and back. Diesel fuel is hovering around $5 a gal and sending one or maybe two trucks across country and back is not cheap.
I'm thinking if you can get the car through Darlington and Dover any way you can, then maybe you will be locked into the 600, which is a big money major. I believe once you don't enter a race (like the 21) you are automatically a go or go homer.
not automatically, all depends on owners points.
Yes you are right. I think Jayski had it wrong at one time but he has since corrected himself. Attempts do not matter to qualify for the top 35. Thanks.
I would think that RG would want to make sure the 7 is in the top 35 for the end of the year. That way the first 5 races next year are good to go. But hey what do I know just a fan.
Robby is going to do what makes the best business sense for him. Penske had the #77 locked in for the first 5 this year & they didnt run...#21 WON Daytona & doesnt even show up. The people who actually OWN the teams know more than we do...trust me on that....
TOG, I think everybody on the planet should have to go out and buy a speed every time you have to give this same exlpanation this weekend. I would say everytime this season but I doubt any of us have the income to cover that!
Love to, just get some of it in upstate NY.
Brett, you can buy it on speedenergy.com. get the 24 pack, about $2.00 a can.
If kurt busch rips his team again over the radio like he did the other night, he might be hanging out with KC soon.
