I won't be in California for the race......I would but my lead suit is at the cleaners.......no it's not it's right here but I just won't be at the race. Gas ON this weekend guys go get'um
You got your wish. The zonies opened up a can u woop ass in the second half. Didn't know who Derrick Williams was but I do now!
Went to watch the Hauler Parade tonight and then I hoped to browse the merchandise trailers at the track. SURPRISE - They did not let fans into the Auto Club Speedway parking lot. The security guard said there were no sponsors of the fan-zone so there were no activities tonight. This is a first for that not happening. So we went to another viewing spot for the Hauler parade (Bass Pro Shop) and no SPEED Energy Hauler?

I even checked the 3 local Food 4 Less stores to see if maybe there was an un-anounced appearance of Robby or the showcar. NO LUCK!
Bummer night.
Fontana is one of the least fan friendly tracks on the circuit. Not only does the racing generally suck, the parking Nazi's and gate searches are some of the worst of all NASCAR tracks i have been (I have been to 14 different tracks). No wonder attendance is down. NASCAR would be well served if thy leveled that place! All that being said, it would be a great place to see #7 in winners circle.

Wish we could more easilly find Speed in SOCAL.
I agree! I've been to that track 10 times in every situation infeild [owned a share of RV space for 5 yrs] to suites, every year it gets worse last time they wouldn't accept my buddies handicap placard made him park in the north 40. Last time was the last time!
hey Duck, Bristol had 100k(maybe) out of 160k..... attendance not down there? let's take a race away from Bristol...how's that ?
SPEED Energy hauler probably got there late last night. He encountered some bad weather a few days ago.
Looking forward to this weekend! Rock on RGM!
I never miss a race,I thought the Feb 2010 race there was OK? 17 years is how long I have been a RG fan,not when he was at RCR.My frustration is getting the better of me! You could hear that in his voice after he knocked the wall down at Bristol! Hope he has a good q run! Don't see many dnf's there! I was talking to Robby last year at Talladega, and he autographed a couple '03 victory circle pics I had.He said" I gotta get back there!"
A good finish is a must, the Dega race is just around the corner and while there are only 43 cars here you can bet that there will be 47 at Dega....
It's down to a light mist here in turn 4.
This story was linked the other day off the main page, but not there now...not sure if any/everyone saw it, but Reutimann had some nice things to say about our boy:

From SB Nation .com

SBN: Who is the most underrated driver in NASCAR?

DR: Well, I think there's a lot of drivers who don't get the attention they should. I think Robby (Gordon) takes a lot of heat for a lot of different things, but he's an exceptional talent. He's definitely got the ability, it just hasn't worked out with the situation right now. People forget that Robby's won some pretty big races, but he's just not in an ideal situation for him right now.
