RG saying anything on the scanner? Feedback anyone?
Paul Menard has the least amount of drop-off at 10 lap.Robby alittle slower, just not real fast
Schrub is good to
Since their is such a drop off in time between old and new tires, I guess the biggest question is who is on old and new tires?? Robby is on old tires???
I'm guessing most are on old tires, trying to minimize drop off.
Happy hour will be interesting
Race Notes:
IF RG finishes 20th or better (or 21st & leads a lap), RGM would take over the the 35th position in Owner's Points heading into Daytona. (As long as the #71 doesn't beat RGM by 3 postions or more).

PJ will bank over $70,000 for RGM just by starting tomorow's race.

This will be RG's worse start ever at Sonoma, his previous was 24th in 2004 (he finished 24th -10 laps down).

The last time RG drove a Dodge at Sonoma he started 8th and finished 36th (-2 laps down). Robby's best manufacturer record was with Ford at Sonoma. He finished 2nd, 9th, & 16th. He only scored 2 Top 10 finishes back to back (in a Ford).

RG has had 7 finishes of 16th or better, and 6 finishes of 34th or worse in 13 races at Sonoma. So if you look at his track history, RG will probably finish better than 16th or worse than 34th. It's statistically RG's best track on the Nascar circuit. Daytona is his 2nd best.

RG has led a lap in 6 of the 13 races at Sonoma. In 2 of those races he finished 36th or worse. In the other 4 he finished 11th or better.

In RG's first appearance at Sonoma in a Cup car (1997) RG finished 41st and collected $27,720. Last year RG made his 13th appearance finishing 2nd and collecting $215,648
So far so good in Happy Hour
JJ, has a 10 lap run down to .5sec drop off

I've got Robby at 6/10th's,JJ at .5,33 .6. the 34 didn't run enough laps to get the final bit of drop-off.
observing today from the great Northweat and it looks the same from up here. I predict an excellent finish if he makes his passes and runs away from the passee so they can't retaliate from being passed by a team thats 36th in points GO ROBBY GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
