This is EXACTLY how Sunday is going to play out.
And oh yea. I remember when robby was 2 laps down at the glen and came back to finish 17 on the lead lap, after changing a ps pump during the race. That was good
ROBBY GORDON Q28 "I didn't expect that. We made a couple of changes and went the wrong way. We went up on rear springs, down on rear bar and our car was all over the place. We have all practice tomorrow to figure it out. I think tires are going to be really difficult on Sunday. I'm not sure if it's a different tire or what. I'm struggling and I think a lot of other teams are as well. We just can't find bite."
btw who went home?
#38 Ave
thanks
I agree with the poster who mentioned the guys mid pack. I wouldn't worry about Robby's ability, but the guys in the middle who are going to tear something up lap 1 guaranteed. It happens every year, a pile up in 7 and cars scatter everywhere. With the team struggling to find speed like a lot of others, perhaps fuel mileage may be the way to go. Just be fast enough to keep up, then when the final run comes, you can stay out if there's a late race yellow. I'm pretty confident Robby would make that car 3 lanes wide holding onto the lead if he had to. No reason to race for points
crap happens at the front also.If Ambrose runs anything like last year, the mayhem will be in front of Robby.
Agreed. I think pit early. Clean track to run on when u exit. Fuel will be good. Otherwise he WILL burn the car up trying to fight through the rest of these "pro" drivers. But then I do know nothing. Sunday will be fun to watch.
Mike adjust your pit stop laps 170 laps is about 400 m for a 320 mile race? will be 3 min
whoops Mic, that was miles not laps.Heres the new numbers lap 27-29,55-57,84-86
Yeah, I bet PJ does a fuel test run
