Money doesn't grow on tree's...shocking.
To some it's all Monopoly money, Scott.
So are you telling me they went down there with 2 cars "just hopeing" 5 other cars would do worse? Not trying to control their own fate just alittle bit? I know theres no money, but why bother if your really not gonna try?
RG would have missed the show by 1 tenth of a second...do you realize that?

Signing off here, people just frustrate me.
Good point.
you can't spend enough money to beat rain.a bazillion laps of practice at the top of the board would not have changed anything!
That easy to say now that it rained. What about before that??? You dont think a few more laps of practice would have helped?
no idea,as soon as it rained, it didn't matter the 77 was going home. two previous Q attempt's
then why did he go? Exposer for SPEED?
Look at David Stremme. Fastest of the GOGH'ers in practice and quals and he's going home. Even if he ran 500 laps and spent $50K on tires, $150K on a new engine after those 500 laps, plus the cost of getting himself and a full crew to the track he's still going home with empty pockets. Atta-Boy's and back slaps don't pay bills or cover the payroll. Not in the real world.
Would it have not changer the starting position outcome. Practice fast you get rewarded.
WRONG! See above.
