2011 Las Vegas Race Weekend Info & Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2011 Las Vegas cup race. Robby Gordon will drive the #7 Terrible's/SPEED Energy Dodge. The team had a 32nd place finish last year at Vegas. Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the Nevada track.

the new chassis' is it one from penske, were robby,kurt,brad could share info or it a inhouse RGM chassis?

To the best on my knowledge RGM builds all their own chassis and is only getting engines from Penske with some technical support from Dodge. I'm sure RGM is able to talk with Penske's CC's and engineers at the track as far as some set up comparisons. I dont think RGM has an actual technical alliance with Penske like Stewart/Haas has with Hendrick. So the actual help coming directly from Penske Racing at the track might be limited, as they are competitors. I'm sure TOG would know more.

I dont know if this has been mention or not. But it looks as if their will be two companies on the Speed Energy Dodge this weekend.

The #7 SPEED Energy Dodge will be sporting a new color and partner this weekend. The #7 SPEED Energy Dodge Charger R/T will be yellow to represent the Octane flavor of SPEED Energy and will be sporting two new partners, Terrible Herbst and Wirtz Beverage Nevada. SPEED Energy drinks can be purchased in the Terrible Herbst convenience stores in Nevada.
