Harris Teeter is receiving advertising for selling Speed Energy, not buying advertising space.HUGE difference.

It's getting to the point that the morons on this forum out number the folks that "get it." Robby Gordon never planned on running the complete season, OK? Why is that so hard for many of you to understand? If it is easy to milk a few extra races as a start & park team I don't blame RGM for doing it. It makes good business sense to do it when it's easy to do. I don't think Robby is too worried about having to qualify on time to make the field, so why get your panties all wadded up?

As for the weekly sponsors not being happy with the car going slow I don't think it's too important to them. I am guessing they aren't really writing a sponsorship check anyway. Probably the deal is something like "if you put Speed in your stores I will stick your store's name on the side of the car for a race or two." As long as Speed sells then it is a win - win for both sides.

I can't help but wonder if the intensified worrying about how fast the car is all the time isn't a by product of people being jacked up on Speed Energy Drink? Try to balance it out with something like some OG Kush. It will work wonders for you.

Good point about jacked up on Speed Energy.Maybe add a little GT Vodka.
I still don't get why folks show up once a month,read the last page of a thread,then piss and moan becouse nobody checked with them for approval on the plan.

Jacked up on Speed Energy?? --> guilty as charged!!! LOL. Went to stock up at the local GNC last night - and there was only a partial pack of the octane - looked like some animal had ripped the carton apart, leaving pieces on the floor and shelf, to get a can out. Not sure how many they are actually stocking in the store - but they were almost all gone.

Maybe a Speed Energy Chill is in order; as an antidote to too much fuel or octane, ha ha

Bruce, most of us that get it don't waste effort on the one that don't get it. I can't count the times I type a response to an idiot post, only to delete it because it is impossible to teach these fools. I just ignore them. Most of them are just looking for a meaningless conversation. They come because it is a good site for race chatter. True RG fans realize what what RG is doing and are rolling with the program. None of us want to watch S&P.....it's just part of the strategy for now.

They did show the pretty pink car when they went to Speed Center with Krista during the Le Mans just a bit ago. Didn't talk about it but it was nice to see it there at the beginning of the show.
Now hoping that the driver is "ok" from the bad wreck that just happened.

@Barb, Yes they showed the "PINK Speed Energy" car during Speed's qualifying show and interviewed Scott Wimmer.
Do you remember when we use to tease about Speed always going to commercial when Robby qualified?One way to guarantee
tv time is to be first out (sand bag practice?)
Drivers are now making comments about "playing games" during practice becouse of the new qualifying rules.Carl Edward and team thought Q was going to rain out (so did I) they went all out in practice.If it rained out, they'd be sitting on the pole.It didn't rain out,Edwards starts 6th.Regan and Marcos play'd practice best.

The Dodge strategy worked to perfection. They have the field covered top, middle, and bottom.

Wimmer need only grab a few points and bring Miss Pink home unscratched. On to Michigan!
