you missed MotoGP,World Superbike, AMA Motocross, and local short tracks across the country.
You're wrong about RGM not making the show, with the 21 a no show, they are locked in.
Robby has stated countless time, Pocono is not FUN to him and could care a less to ever race race there again.
My bad! No Robby, no watchie!
Are they running a lawnmower engine in this thing this week ? It's much slower than usual. Hopefully we can find someway to stay in the top 35 this week.
any insights on why these cars are so pitifully slow?
they don't want to wreck the car...they are in the race, will run a few laps, park it and beat the traffic out.....
@Karen,Scott's first job was to NOT do what Skinner did.Remember last year with Ted trying to make the show?RGM doesn't need any wrecked cars right now, with Kimi damaging the primary road race didn't help.Locked in, no need to press one's racing luck.
With Lally having such a good Q and generaly running a full race, there is a good chance he will come out of Pocano ahead of Robby in points, plus they need to pick up 9-10 points to clear the 21 for Michigan one of the "FUN RACES". That means with their qualifing record as poor as it has been, they could be in big trouble. They need to take this opportunity while they are at the track and in the show to maximize their point sand stay a lock in. IMO
I agree with that, but if there is any testing to be done - it wouldn't hurt to have some speed in the car as well as on it. Don't know what you learn when the car is that bad. Could still hang around the back, but there is the opportunity here to at least maintain or gain some positions and not wreck.
YEP
Robert - ITS A PARTIAL SCHEDULE THIS YEAR....Top 35 is not going matter very soon...Quit crying people....Robby will be back next week & if he has to qualify his way in, so be it.
With a better than fair chance of rain overnight,Na$crap usually has a competition yellow between lap17 and 22.Also a far chance of one caution prior to that comp.yellow.
I'd guess a goal would be stay out to lead a lap(1 pnt) than a 35th or better would pass the 21 in owners points. The 71 needs to ante up the cash to run a complete race and finish 9 (or 8-1)ahead of Scott to move in to 36th.(Last year Pocono spr. Bob Labonte was a S&P)
I see 6 cars that typically park at 40 or less laps,58laps makes the NBP.
do you really think the harris teeter people are gonna buy that bad brakes bit? how long do you think they will stick with robby if he cant put a decent car on the track
