2012 Dakar - Prelude To Stage 1

Getting close to the start of the 2012 Dakar Rally.  In the days leading up to the start of stage 1 , there will be many cool events taking place. The local Argentina TV stations usually live feed the Dakar parade. We will provide the links as well as replay any of the footage. Also, there is scrutineering ( tech inspection ) & the "opening day" festivities ( aka the Robby Gordon ramp launch - 2011 Footage HERE ). Going to be a fun ride, no doubt. They will be flying to Argentina on the 27th of December.

just watched 2 vids on race dezert that are not on the planet one with him talking to nassar in race truck and one with rob going 100mph adjacent to a paved road while being taped .have no idea how to get them from there to here thats for the geeks

I like the smell of burnt fuel and rubber in the morning. This is it folks, hold on to your hats. More Carbonfiber on that hummer that I have seen before. 8-10% more power from the LS3. This going to be one mean Speed machine. I hope Robby and Nasser keep this wild child under control. Cant wait till Sunday morning, Happy New Year.

I am in no way a proponent of unsafe driving ....uh er keeoolll video. Ever try driving while looking through binoculars?
