Ok, break it down for me...who do we have to beat on thursday?

make it to mile 150

Beat two of the three: Waltrip, M Wallace, and McDowell. And were in.
Though one thing to be weary of, If Trevor (or Stremme or Labonte) races and stays up front (which i have a feeling Trevor will), then you would have to beat all of those three to make the race.

Waltrip and Wallace will get stupid and wreck, McDowell will have trouble finding help

If you look at the line up for the duel race RG is in its quite favorable.. both Dodge cars are in it ( AJ and Brad) plus Trevor is in it too! He can do this!

Here's the dope the way I got it so far. After what could be called the save of the day captain Kyle makes another one not to mention the slide off the racing surface and came back to win that Shoot out race. All thanks go to Biff for that run to the front which caused his temps to pop I believe. The race will come down to "as the world turns" and the end, at which point if we find ourselves needing to pass some of the other hopefuls the time frame will be short. Based on what I saw from Biffle pushing Kyle. In other words if we are not ahead of our competitors late in the race we will have only a handful of laps to piggy back to the front as this air damn package will not be of any use trying to do it for more than two or three laps. All blind findings on my part here, I hate to express theories on this one. I'm pretty confident our car will race well enough and the racing gods not some jackass see fit the deserving entrants survive. That if not for lack of something to talk about is good enough for me. to sum up GAS ON BAD CARMA OFF

David Gilliand will be right in front of RG, sounds like a hool up to me

I think it would be unwise for us to underestimate the drivers in Robby's duel, it is a group of great drivers. I mean did any of us expect Raines and Stremme to qualify on speed? heck no. Anything can happen, Brian Kez made his way into the race last year.

It's going to be a very very tough duel.

Gatorade Duel #1

Carl Edwards Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Marcos Ambrose Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
Trevor Bayne Tony Stewart
Aric Almirola Paul Menard
David Ragan AJ Allmendinger
Brad Keselowski Kevin Harvick
Jeff Burton Juan Pablo Montoya
David Stremme Jamie McMurray
Danica Patrick Terry Labonte
Michael Waltrip Denny Hamlin
Michael McDowell Landon Cassill
David Gilliland Mike Wallace
Robby Gordon

Robby's gota beat the Mikes!

There's at least 10 problems on this list of names. Honestly Michael Waltrip is the biggest problem. We all know he will cause a wreck. If Trevor has sympathy....if Kevin or Brad feel like helping......its a stretch...honestly, seeing Danica in the mix of a pack also frightens the crap out of me...what if she has a flashback of Kansas-Indy carnage?

I am confused...what if Bayne and Stremme finish ahead of Robby...and then Robby finishes 3rd and Waltrip finishes 4th.

Will that put Robby in the race? or does it go to qualifying times after Bayne and Stremme lock themselves in?
