Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2012 Las Vegas cup race. Robby Gordon will attempt to qualify the #7 into the field on Friday & will drive the car on Sunday. Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the Nevada track.

It's painfully clear RGM needs an injection of cash OR a full-time Cup ride to keep everything a float. Off road has been said to be fully funded but Cup has been said to keep the lights on. I have met RG a few times and admire his passion, but it's time to do something different. I'm sure I will get blasted for not drinking the Speed-flavored Kool Aid, but it's reality.

Probably is very far-fetched, but Trevor Bayne would be out of the car a few weekends this year where his team isn't at the race track due to sponsor issues. So, despite him driving a Ford, Roush-Fenway car, what are the chances of him ever taking the No. 7 for a spin besides Reed Sorenson or Robby?
