2012 Mint 400 Race Info & Discussion

Join in and discuss all the action for the 2012 Mint 400. Robby Gordon will run the #1537 RPM Offroad / SPEED Energy Truggy. This is the same truck he won the Parker 425 earlier this year. Here is the schedule:

THURSDAY 3-22-12

- Practice & Qualifying - 2:30pm/et ( QUALIFIES 2ND FASTEST )

SATURDAY 3-24-12

- Start of Race - 4:00pm/et

Good juju and is king of the desert on his Toyo Tires, and not BJ...nothing against BJ, we just want RG to be the top Toyo driver!

Justin from RPM offroad returned an email. Justin stated that Charlie is a Driver/ Navigator/ Chase team leader for RPM and has been with the Team since 2006. Hope we get to here from some of the Crew at RPM here at Planetrobby.com. One more thing. The Crew for this Weekends Mint 400 consisted of Members from TN, AZ, CA, and Mexico...

this was a cool photo that i wanted to share. it was right at dusk (lap 4), and as you can see, the mountains actually got brighter. also, you can see the overall winner SPEEDING down the "backstretch" coming into pit 2. about 20 miles after this pic, he was the official winner!
