Any words of advise welcome.

You might think it is too early to start planning, the Dakar is still 20 days away. But for some of us in the outer neither lands, planning takes time.

I will be in Los Vegas for training classes 3-8 February. The Parker 425 is the 1-3. Get to pick and choose classes so don't have to be there on the 3rd. Thinking about flying in and renting a car in LV, drive down to Parker then return to sit in class for a few day.

I would appreciate any input. Is anyone else planning on going to this race? Have to get my registration in for the training NLT 31 Dec and would like to get everything started at once.
