We all here are obviously biased and hope that Robby dominates Baja again like we know he can. My question is: Which team will be his biggest competition? BJ Baldwin (let us hope none of his two dollar parts fail this time)? Tavo (double and triple check your light bar this time)? RobMac and AndyMc? Somebody else?
Ah. Forgot about Bryce although I shouldn't. Plus there's Vanderwey, Weyhrich, and even Mark Post (if he actually races this time). Justin Lofton is co-driving with Craig Potts in the #59. Lopez is in the RPM #18. Darkhorse for me is Justin Davis in the #85. I could see him top 5.
Pistol Pete you ask (even though I know you didn't)? He's racing class 2 which has a total of 3 entries. It could be his highest finish ever... if he finishes.
In class 10 I am pulling for Minnesotan Peter Hajas in the #1080. He won the American leg of the Dakar challenge this past summer and has earned a free spot in the rally (not sure if he's actually going to go or not)
See Brenthel Industries site and facebook page. Brenthel was also signed up for the Dakar Challenge and was really interested in doing Dakar. They teamed up and built an LS powered buggy that Mr. Hajas will be driving. They said they just got it packed into the shipping container yesterday.

Apparently tracking will be done here: Tracking It will be done using SpotLive. Spot? Don't those guys sound familiar ;)
A lot of the info will be at Score. Here is a link for the event schedule, and on that page on the right side bar are links to qualifying, leaderboards, course map, etc. Score International
If you guys have favorite site that you get good info from other than the normal ones feel free to post it up. Always looking for more creditable info and opinion that isn't just regurgitated press releases.
Everybody forgot about Tim Herbst and Rosseller. Consistant and fast. Anybody getting in the mystery machine and going to scooby doo some qualifying video action ?
Thanks for starting this Mike. Really looking forward to this. Just alittle pissed off that they're starting it on Friday, as I still must work for food and won't be able to catch much of it until I get home. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good qualy session for clean air.
never knew there was a "host"........shall I bring olives, pepp"a"roni, crackers and such .or just some JERKY?
@Michael,haven't you provided this event's host with "JERKY"for years? But ,yes there is a host,Whether it's TOG,WJM or myself an admin hosts 'chat' (someone to turn the machine on)
yes on Jerky...........just never realized with all the chats we had there was person who considered the host ......I miss most fly balls but get the linedrives.
