January 10th-15th, the Rally Raid continues from Ha'il through the North Eastern area of Saudi Arabia before heading to West, than South along the Red Sea, finishing in Jeddah.

14:27 Al-Rajhi seals the deal
No-one except his countryman Yasir Seaidan even came close to Yazeed Al-Rajhi in today's special. The Saudi, who had an erratic start to the rally, took control of the race at km 90 and cruised to his second stage win in the 43rd Dakar.
14:17 Al-Attiyah and Peterhansel at the finish!
Nasser Al-Attiyah and Stéphane Peterhansel have just finished today's special. The Toyota driver only managed to make up 49' on the Frenchman, who still enjoys a margin of more than 17 minutes in the general standings. Two days to go!

16:30 Karyakin back to his winning ways
The runner-up to Casey Currie in the SSV category last year and former quad Dakar champion, Sergey Karyakin, has opened his account for this year. The Russian beat Austin Jones by almost 30 seconds and Michał Goczał by over a minute. 'Chaleco' López conceded 2'41' to Karyakin and, most importantly, over two minutes to Jones. López now has just over 10 minutes to spare over the American in the general standings. Nothing is decided yet!

Super Sam Sunderland has done it! The British biker has not only reacquainted himself with the podium for the first time in 2019 but has taken a superb victory. The KTM rider has skillfully managed to maintain a comfortable lead over the Husqvarna ridden by Pablo Quintanilla to taste success in style.
