Robby Gordon will NOT be competing. One customer SPEED UTV will be.

Saudi Arabia is +8 hours on Eastern Time / +11 on the West Coast.

January 2nd-7th, the Rally Raid starts in Ha'il, Saudi Arabia and races South than West before racing to North to the city of Riyadh.

January 8th, Rest Day Riyadh

January 9th-14th, the Rally Raid continues from Riyadh through the Southern area of Saudi Arabia before heading to West, than West, finishing in Jeddah.

The day is a good one for Joan Barreda who has just completed the day’s special with the best time. The Spaniard has finished 5’33’’ ahead of Sam Sunderland. Kevin Benavides has reached the finishing line in third place, also with the status of the leading KTM representative, meaning there are three different constructors on the day’s podium!

Car: 15th victory for Loeb!
Sébastien Loeb is victorious on completion of stage two on the 44th edition of the Dakar. The Frenchman has raised his number of car category stage wins to 15 on the most prestigious rally-raid in the world, equalling the feats of his countrymen Jean-Louis Schlesser and Bruno Saby. It should also be noted that it is the very first victory for Prodrive on the Dakar.
