it is possible that due to local weather, the course may have changed, just my guess

and from DAKAR
Moto: Stage 3 modified
Stage 3 has been modified due to the heavy rain that soaked a part of the region around Al Artawiyah and will therefore be shortened in relation to the initially planned route. The special will now start at the point where CP1 was to be situated, reducing the timed section by one hundred kilometres. On a loop around Al Qaysumah, the competitors will initially travel along a 214 km link section that will take them to the start of the 255-km special, before returning along a 166-km link route. On the menu, there will be sand which, thanks to the rain, will be heavier and provide better carry. However, there will also be chains of dunes through which the competitors will have to wind as well as climb over a distance of 30 km, classed as level 2 difficulty, meaning today the riders and drivers will be faced with sandy behemoths.

Moto: First victory for Rodrigues and Hero!
Daniel Sanders has been eagerly awaited at the finishing line to discover the outcome of this special, but in the end, he has dropped down into fifth position, almost three minutes behind Joaquim Rodrigues, who picks up his first success on the Dakar and also provides the Hero team with their first victory. Toby Price has completed the stage in second place, ahead of the incredible Mason Klein.

Car: Victory number 40 for Sainz on the Dakar
Carlos Sainz still has what it takes! Today, the Spaniard has picked up his 40th success on the Dakar allowing the brand-new Audi RS Q e-tron to enjoy its very first stage win on the world’s most prestigious rally-raid. It is also the very first victory for a vehicle in the T1-Ultimate category, which is reserved for alternatively powered vehicles, a measure that is part of the first act in the #DakarFuture plan.

SSV: A new one-two for the Goczał brothers
Marek Goczał has picked up his second victory this year and for the second time after stage 1A, he triumphed in front of his brother Michał. With Aron Domżała, yesterday’s winner and third today, Poland has scored a 1-2-3 on the SSV podium as well as remaining unbeaten since the beginning of the 44th Dakar in the category. Congratulations are in order: “Gratulacje!” as they say in Polish.

LW Proto
LW Proto: 3 out of 4 for Quintero
Seth Quintero has triumphed on conclusion of the third stage on the 44th edition of the Dakar. The American driver has dominated since the first time check point and was never under threat. However, following his mechanical problems on stage 2, Quintero trails by 16 hours in the overall classification. It is a pity for him, but a stroke of luck for his rivals, given the high pace displayed by the young Red Bull representative…

Car: Puncture for Loeb!
Sébastien Loeb has just suffered a puncture, allowing his rival Nasser Al-Attiyah to move into the lead. Another duel is brewing between the two adversaries and Loeb will be doing the hunting… in his BRX Hunter!
Car: Loeb already trails by 15’
After two punctures, Sébastien Loeb has already lost more than a quarter of an hour after 126 km. Henk Lategan still leads, seven seconds ahead of Carlos Sainz and a little more than a minute in front of Stéphane Peterhansel.
Car: Two-wheel drive for Loeb
At the finishing line for the day’s special, Sébastien Loeb arrived more than 33’ behind stage winner Carlos Sainz. The nine times winner of the WRC and his co-pilot Fabian Lurquin broke their longitudinal transmission after 10 minutes of racing. They managed to salvage their day by making it to the finishing line on two-wheel drive!
