SECOND PLACE ON THE PODIUM IN HIS SIGHTS | T1
21:45

Although he had to stop to change a wheel, Sébastien Loeb grabbed a fourth consecutive stage victory yesterday, his fifth this year, but is still far behind Nasser Al Attiyah. Nevertheless, he is 9 minutes behind Lucas Moraes, so second place on the final podium is perfectly possible.

KEVIN BENAVIDES PROJECTED TO TAKE THE SPECIAL AS PRICE DEFENDS THE OVERALL LEAD | GP
23:07

When it's not one Benavides, it's the other! Luciano, originally given the fastest time at the finish, has received a one-minute penalty for speeding. His brother Kevin, who rushed to Matthias Walkner's aid near the start of the special, is expected to get 23′10″ back following his request from the FIM when he reaches the bivouac. That would make Kevin the winner of the stage by 30″ over Docherty, 2′08″ over Van Beveren and 2′31″ over Price. Assuming that he gets that time deduction and is not slapped with a road section penalty on his way to the bivouac, Kevin Benavides is set to move up to second place overall, 12″ behind Price and 1′43″ ahead of Skyler Howes!
