Well, Robby had a stout car in Happy Hour for Sundays cup race, talk here as he marches through the field from his rain-induced 31st starting spot.Robby came through the field rather easily in the Nationwide race until overheating ended his day.Hopefully the pit strategies will be good and Robby won't let the speeding penalty from Saturday influence him into running slow on pitroad , like 2007.

Robby pits next to David Ragan(#6) and Aric Almirola(#8)
2 hours till racetime!
Why the hell did Robby not have walter call the race for him on SAT, you would think the more time they spend together figure out the track we help him out on sunday.
My guess on the Walter deal........The cars are sooo differetn the Walter would learn nothing on Saturday for Sunday. The only thing I think you could hope to take away would be stratagy.......I think probably sitting in an RV with TV's and computers would probably offer more information than on top of a pit box trying to figure out how to tighten up a car he hasn't CC for in over a year....

Walter needs to worry about Sunday.....not Saturday would be my uneducated guess..

about the point in Saturday's race where it was mentioned that Robby was working the startagy from inside the car...you knew he wasn't going to win....(kept hoping he would)
The only thing I can add to that is during the NWS here, Blake (the former shock specialist) was up on the box. However, Walter was there the whole race,& was passing notes up to Blake. My educated guess is Robby is lookin to add another CC to his stable. Being Walter's helping (not directing), I think it's with the intention of expanding to field a second car. As they say, it's easier to train somebody the way you want things, then to re-train them to not do things, the way you don't want them.
blake got fired after chicago
No reason for th eshort pit today..on Sirius Raido they said everyone is getting 28-32 laps on fuell it s a 90 lap race..so this is a straight up 2 stop race (or should be if this information is accurate)

Tis will favor us as it takes thinking out of it (barring cautions on lap 26-28 and laps 55-59)

Robby needs to get to the the top 10 by the seocnd pit stop then hopefully there will br a caution or 2 that allows him to pass guys and get a win!
yup. Just keep to your pit strategy.
radar looks VERY good for a clear race..
Going to be fun watching Robby being "conservtive" racing from the back......Not going to happen. We need 3 yellows the first 20 laps, keep the cars close and pick off 2 or 3 a lap unitl the first pit stop.
Todd Parrot always said that if you play with the squirrels, you get your nuts cracked.
A lot of squirrels back there with Robby and he gets squirrelly himself at times.
Can't stop thinking it comes back to bite us.
need a few early yellows to bunch em all up.That will make his charge to da front easy!

I am pumped!
