The son of NASCAR driver Morgan Shepherd pleaded guilty Tuesday to five counts of felony indecent liberties with a minor.

A Catawba County grand jury indicted 40-year-old Clay Morgan Shepherd Jr., of Hickory, on one of the charges in 2006.

On Tuesday, Superior Court Judge Robert Bell sentenced Shepherd to six months in prison, to be followed by three years’ probation. Shepherd will also have to register as a sex offender and undergo a sex offender evaluation and treatment.

According to the district attorney’s office, the charges involved multiple female victims under the age of 16. The incidents happened between 2005 and 2008.

Morgan Shepherd is a huge christian and runs his race car's with "Jesus" on the hood. Please keep his family in prayer.

MY heart and prayers got out to those girls and their families and also to Morgan Shepherds family. His son should get more jail time actually I can think of a better punishment.
I have no sympathy for adults who fuck around with minors...
I feel they should have their penis removed as a form of punishment. Those people are mentally ill and should be left in jail or treated (w/o penis).

Seriously, I feel bad for Morgan. His son's legal bills have to be hurting his already low budget race team. You would have to think that Morgan is really upset that his son turned out the way he did coming from the Shepard Family.
having a family member who is a child molster, I personally feel they get off too easy in ouw court systems today. My heart bleeds for Morgan Sr, but his son should be in jail for many, many yrs. I hope he burns in hell for what he is doing.
