RG's real fans won't go anywhere. Fair weather,& hype fans can fall out of the herd like weak gazelle, I'll keep going forward.
The recent results definately suck, but I would not even watch NASCAR if RG wasnt there. I for one will always support RGM and hope he stays in cup. He will have better results in the future.
To those who are ready to give up....Please do so. Go find a nice, safe, coporate spokesman... er... I mean.. driver to root for.
I really hope that he can manage it inside the top 35 until talladega. We should be able to get a top 10 out of that race, and possibly a win if he moves to the front earlier. All we need is to click off a few top 20's in the next like 3 races and we will be fine.
Every team/organization goes through a slump. This is nothing new. If anybody can make it over the hurdle higher than anyone else its RG because he has the brains to do so and the balls and attitude to do so.

RG, RGM, and us diehard bleed for Robby fans, are not going anywhere.

Period.
That goes double for me.
I will be in the group of diehards. It looks like that group may be a small one by some of the postings lately, but I will be there.
I have watched Robby screw shit up for 20 plus years and I still keep track of what he is doing. Watch every weekend cuss & scream get mad then start again on Monday hoping next week will get better. Our boy can drive an is a BS'R/PR Man, he can not do everything else, he is not a crew chief, manager, engineer. Until he lets the latter go and trust people to do their job, this is what RGM will be. Here's to hoping for a better next week.
Tough thing about Richmond is RG can get caught up early in a wreck like Bristol and be screwed. At the end of the day, those 2 road courses just screwed him with his results there.
that being said, Robby also has had past good runs at Richmond,so it's not like he is entering Martinsville where he is almost guranteed to struggle.Robby needs to be aggressive in qualifying and get a top starting spot.Conservative = getting lapped. We need aggressive Robby to come out of hiding at Richmond. Driving cautious isn't an option.
Grill 2 Go !
You also have to remember that the cars around Robby could also have a bad race at Richmond. Any of em could get wrecked or blow motors or even DNQ. The teams with him are just as bad. It's not like they are all going to get top 10 and 5 finishes.
They are down there with him because they have had the same kind of results. as long as Robby beats a couple of em by just a few positions he will move up the points table.
