Kansas is more like Joliet, than anything else on the circut. P26, when all said,& done here in July. The car was getting better as the race progressed too. My optimism lies in the chassis, seems like it's working well. 31.99 in practice, not too bad. Hopefully they can improve on that during the race....being the stops are gonna suck, we'll need it.
I think that the team pulled another Qual in race trim stunt. If they have fast average times tomorrow in both practices, I think all will be good so long as Robby keeps out of Jmac's way and off the walls that he tends to hit at the intermediate tracks.
yeah......but Mcdingleberry should probably worry about impressing another owner....he is going to need a ride as soon as NASCAR forces Jackass Roush to get down to 4 teams........Jamie is the Goose in a game of "Duck Duck Goose...your outta here beyaaatch!"
(I'm still a little bitter about him beating Robby for the pole in sonoma a couple of years ago).........
I Happened to be standing by McMurray when he was signing autographs for a couple of people in Indy. He looked at me and asked "do you have something I can sign for you" I was like no thanks, I just wanted to shake your hand and say hi.....he obliged and shook my hand...as were were shaking he noticed I had on a Robby Gordon shirt and McMurray was like "you a Robby Gordon faN"...I said "Yep!"....He then proceeded to say "that's too bad, I had you pegged for a knowledgeable race fan...that shirt kills your credibility"......he turns around and walks away...being the smart ass am...I was like "well I certainly hope you were taking notes on the first lap of Sonoma last year...you got schooled!"....he heard me because he turned and looked at me and just shook his head......
If he hadn't of turned and walked away after he dissed Robby (and me) I would have laughed it off....he was being serious..
