RGM's 2009 plans...poll

Just for fun, what do you as the fans think about RGM's 2009 plans. Several scenarios have been presented, and it's no secret now after the GEM suit that Robby will sell or merge his team.

So what do you think?

#1 - Robby merges with DEI, Inc driving the #7 Jim Beam Chevy in 2009

#2 - Robby merges with Penske driving the #7 Jim Beam Dodge in 2009

#3 - Robby merges with Yates driving the #7 Jim Beam Ford in 2009

#4 - Robby stays and drives again for RGM in 2009 with engines from Penkse

#5 - Robby hires Riggs and has a 2-car team in 2009 with engines from Penske

#6 - Robby pulls off a winter deal and merges with MWR for 2009 with Toyota

#7 - Robby merges with Ganassi for 2009

#8 - Robby merges with Stewart /Haas Racing in a Chevy for 2009

#9 - Robby & Menard join forces becoming Robby/Menards Racing (RMR) in 2009

#10 - Robby drops out of Top 35, misses Daytona, struggles and finally closes team

I like this except for one thing. BRR, Roush is not spelled with a C.

Talk about wishful thinking!!! However, if we are dreaming, I will vote for that scenario.

1 - No chance, the team is weak anyway
2 - No chance, its where drivers go to be nuetered anyway
3 - Slim chance, but this would just be a return to 2007
4 - Good chance
5 - Little to no chance
6 - MWR is saying they're going to have a fourth team. Wouldn't be the worst thing to happen. Even odds
7 - No chance
8 - No chance, just wishful thinking by people who are fans of both Robby and Tony
9 - Little chance. But by "join forces" you mean Menard buys out a portion of RGM.
10 - Very good chance if he can't broker a quality deal soon
11 - (RGM stands alone, w/Yates power) Exact same things he had in 2007, team will continue to struggle.

18th, 27th, 32, and 43rd on the track today. Mark Martin ran well last week. Mark Martin has had several good runs actually. But I don't see Smith, Menard and Truex setting the world on fire this season....

Not sure if this would play into #2 at all, but Penske did have the deal with JB for the Indy 500/Coke 600 deal earlier this year.

Must admit #8 is my favorite...Robby, Tony, and Newman on the same team..it sure would make for a lot of press..#9 sound nice too....No predictions here....1, 2 0r 3 ?? Dunno..
