Owner Points (unlike Driver Points) awards points for teams that show up but miss the race. The #00 got 31 points for being "44th" after qualifying (after the line-up was set with the Top 35 in Owner Points and the 8 fastest go or go homers) and the #08 got 28 points for being 45th. Every team that shows up gets Owner Points (unless it is a PE - Post Entry).

this info above is wrong. The #00 got 30 some points for attempting to qualify at Kansas.

Robby only has about a 30 point cushion.

Sorry, I forgot to add the points for showing up.......GEEZ! I was just saying Robby is locked in at Dega! This is huge, it's almost guaranteed if you have to run a qualifying setup your chances are history at a win. It's so bad the #21 car with Jon Wood dove onto the pits and went behind the wall to change tehir entire setup before racing in teh spring race. They hope to survive the Big ONe and not cause it!

Those strategic setups did him really well this week and well, all year. For once, I want that fool to qualify 43rd and stay in the back all race long until 15 to go, then try to race.

Today was a complete joke, Penske power and RG as a crew chief, top 37!!!

Until I hear exactly what the hell went wrong today I'm going to be optimistic and predict a top 10 at 'dega. Hopefully something completely arseholeish happened to the car today.
