NASCAR fans will have an opportunity to snap up two authentic race cars when Robby Gordon's No. 7 Dodge Charger (Lot #162.1) that raced this year in the Sharpie 500 at Bristol and Kurt Busch's 2007 Dodge Charger No. 2 (Lot #163) that competed at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, are sold. All proceeds from the sale of Kurt Busch's car will go to the Kurt Busch Foundation, which benefits The Victory Junction Gang Camp.

when? they're doing an auction this month at Mandalay Bay here in Vegas. I'd go if they were being auctioned (not that I'd be bidding)
DO all proceeds fron the sale ofthe #7 go to suport of robbys back pocket thats one way to make some cash to help pay for a seven post rig

by the way the nascar race used cars only get about 50 grand if that at auction and thats for a die hard collector at the end of the year if you want a nascar car you can get them cheap for some teams that thought that they could get a car in and couldnt and now have to sell juat paint it any coulor you want
This car will go for WAY more than 50k.
2 years ago i watched the barrett auction and the highest nascar car was a dale jr. car it only went for 65k and he is the most popular driver You really cant do much with them once you buy it cuz its not street leagle it will probly be bought by some bar and hung up on a wall............ repainted number 88 lol
any number but the 88....LOL
Are you sure it was an actual race car and not just a show car?

I can't see this thing going for 65K, the motor itself is worth 40K.
Is there anything left of the Bristol car???? Man that thing was wiped out...
Barrett Jackson was a sponsor on the car. Wonder if that has something to do with it being sold.
Vehicle Details

Hopefully the link works? Auction runs 10/15-18, car itself auctioned on the 16th.

.... This RGM Chassis #202 Bristol car wrecked while running 20th at the Sharpie 500, but was re-painted and rebuilt for the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction. Robby Gordon will personally be on hand to auction off this unique and rare vehicle.

I was curious reading that too. ;) Too funny.
Maybe it's being set-up for a ride-along type of car?

If you love cars (or most anything with an engine and wheels ;) ), these auctions are fun to watch if you have SPEED, I follow online as I don't have it, so thanks for finding the info.
well, hadn't planned on going to Mandalay Bay for the auction, but since Robbys going to be there, I just might have to change my plans since I don't have much going on that day. If I do, I'll try to get photos and post them.
