How do you figure out the difference btwn driver points (live point standings) and owner points?

Each position has a value, you added that to the owner's points from last week.

Funny story to cheer us up-the Saudi's have pretty much been screwing us with oil prices. A Saudi Prince, one of the major ones, the guys at the hotel call the "prince of dakrness" since they have to block out his windows for security, had a little bathroom bidet (a kind of toilet that shoots water so you're squeaky clean for those who may not kow) accident..the valve got stuck on hot, scalding his asshole. ironic isn't it?
