My feeling about all of this is as follows: NO switching drivers, and NO buying points. Also let me add NO ringers for the road courses. Nazicar has made such a collosal joke out of the whole thing.

Except none of those things are actually the problem, just the dumb ass top 35 rule.

I think the problem is that there are too many rules already. Keep it simple: owners points are awarded by car number, drivers points by driver the fastest 43 qualifiers make the race.
