I found out that if you vote from your phone the vote counts as 2. I think we should all start to vote through our phones if we want Robby in the race.
I'm not going to complain that Robby didn't win the vote (honestly I'd be shocked if he did). I just find it hard to believe that some kid who is pretty much an unknown, except for the two years of hype leading up to his arrival, with a couple top tens this year is magically the huge fan favorite. He's not good looking so they can't say there was some giant upswell from horney pre-teen girls (aka Kahne last year) and I don't think Junior told his masses to vote for him. Did Home Depot order their employees to vote non-stop or they wouldn't get their pay checks? Or did Home Depot "make a donation" to some secret France family "organization?"
I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but something just doesn't add up. Like I said, I'm not whining Robby didn't make it to the big show, but the fan vote being so secretive and no final numbers being disclosed seem fishy to me.
now we need to vote for the Chex most popular vote and get him in the top ten. We have voted Robby in the top 15 all ready. there is a post all ready about it, check it out.
Home Depot had to have something to do with that (not that I blame them; free ad time .... well not free exactly. They're paying probably the most amount of sponsor dollars to be 30th in points). I know a couple people with Home Depot. I'll see what I can find out.
Look the fan vote is just a way for nascar to gather info, demographics, and compile data.
Just like any other corporation in business to sell you more crap made in China.
Think of it this way its the reverse of someone calling you in the middle of dinner to ask those lame questions....
"ah hi were taking a survey and I'm not going to try to sell you anything......."
