I'm new to this, so any explanation as to the tires, shocks etc. and how long it takes to install these parts and any insite to the whole thing would be appreciated!

You are only allowed 2 mechanics and 2.5 hours from start of work to start of practice toget your truck setup. I am sure your tire manufacturer will have a tire team there to mount your tires or they will already be mounted on wheels. You can have your shocks already valved and ready to go so really all you need to do is install them.

How long it takes will depend on how well prepared you are and how good your crew is. You should know all of your seat/steering/pedal settings before you start and already have your shocks setup. You should already have all the proper tools figured out and ready to go.

As long as you have planned and prepared well, 2.5 hours is plenty of time to get ready to go.

Stupid question, but the body panels are on the truck and the wrapping for sponsors is done that day too? My reason for asking is it says to pick you manufacturer that day. How does that work?

I'm curious (not for my own sake, just curiousity) how much the entry fees would be..

time to start planning a roadtrip.. only 400 miles to Crandon!

... but I don't remember any stadiums in Crandon.. anything big anyways..

I know I still can't figure out the whole Crandon thing . Yea it's basically the Daytona of short course racing as far as prestige but this is supposed to be stadium trucks not short course . Oh well though not gonna rain on Robby's parade . He'll figure out what works .

Traveling blow up stadium

maybe it's like nascar doing road courses twice a season.. they go outside for one or two events..

either way. I'll try and make it... anyone else?

Anybody know what are the specifications or requirements on the UTV race vehicles? Only Polaris?

Looking at the picture of the Chassis on page 7... No door bars? Is that normal for Offroad trucks? That just seems like it's asking for serious trouble/injury.

That does seem odd . Both desert and short course have bars and even inside panels

i think this truck was rushed to get into running shape for the big event. i read somewhere that the suspension wasn't even setup correctly due to them needing to get it to the event. the race trucks will most certainly have door bars!
