Dude...it's DAKAR. It's the toughest race in the world. Robby has been top 10 in it since 2007. Something was bound to happen sooner or later.

Perhaps the extreme mods they did in this years car (to achieve higher speed mainly) did not help much in the reliability department...

• Hitting a rock? Nope, not related to modifications.
• Defective bearing? Nope.
• Transmission cooling pump? Slightly possible, but very unlikely.

No, I don't the changes had anything to do with Robby's troubles this year.

Sorry man, Im just an Argentinean musician that does't know much about mechanics or stats, but I do understand about passion and Robby Gordon shows that in motorsport that's the main reason why I became a fan same as thousands of South American people, and that's why I'm trying to share my humble view in this forum, you don't have to snob me off... and no...Im not leaving ;-)

I hear ya man, there are alot of Robby Snobs on here that think they are better than the rest of us and put us down if our opinion isn't up to snuff.  Go Robby...forget the fools

Give me a break, it's racing...things happen and parts break. RGM is going against manufacturers w/ huge budgets and is doing what they can with the budgets that are on the opposite side of the large teams. If there is anyone that is upset it is RG and the team, but don't just say it's always something, hell he nearly won Sonoma in the cup series this year. RGM has always been the little team that could since the 1998 CART series. They have perservered through Nascar, Champ Car, CART, IRL, Dakar, TORC, and are the past years winner of the SCORE championship. As RG himself has said himself "we drive cars for a living"....So everyone just chill and relax, I will always be a RG and RGM supporter of whatever the hell series he wants to run and drive in. End of my rant, but think of one thing....Who else has run as many various forms of motorsports in the past few years?.....No one...... Now I know it sucks w/ Dakar but chin up and on to Daytona
