Am I the only one that thinks NASCAR should be over before the NFL season starts? I never miss a race from Feb to Sept, but I can honestly say that I haven't even watched or followed a race on Sun since the NFL season started. I had to ask a guy at work yesterday who won on Sun.

BTW the Freightliner car is the best scheme yet..

You got to be able to learn to multi-task. I will have the game on TV, and the race leaderboard on the computer. I think NA$CAR relishes going against the NFL to some point...
Nascar has been on Sundays during the NFL season forever (Nascar.com only goes back to the 1975 schedule).

I don't get all the hoopla over this fact now...considering Nascar's rise in popularity and exposure the last decade WHILE racing on Sunday's during the NFL season...
Football season doesn't really start for me until after Homestead. I tivo both the race and whatever game I want to follow and switch back and forth. If it looks like I missed something interesting in the meantime, I can back it up. But I'm an Eagles fan transplanted to the Florida Keys so they don't often show the game I want to see down here. Didn't even broadcast the Eagles-Bucs game on Sunday down here in Dolphins country! Now that's something to be upset about.
Tampa Bay said before the season started said,"ticket sales are not to our expectation so we will not broadcast any home games this season"
Thats just wrong to do to fans.
Blame the NFL and their Blackout Policy--the Tampa Bay Bucs had no say in that decision.
Not a football fan at all. I wish there was more racing to watch during football season.
I am a football fan, but I also wish there was more racing during football season.
LOL Faiders and S&P how about the Lions they're stuck in the hauler.
Hey hey, I'm a Chiefs fan, at least the Raiders have a win!
i am sorry to all you Raider fans. Oh and did i mention Denver is 5-0. haha!
i am a big football fan but lately it is mostly college FIGHT ON TROJANS!!
on Sunday i DVR the race i have a Sunday morning meeting that's over at noon when i get home i watch the race (no commercials) and catch the end of the second game and watch the Sunday night game and DVR the 49's if there broadcast.
but racing comes 1st except at fontana.
Dave beat me to it. PIP is a technology developed by a sports fan for the sports fans. With most of the games being not so exciting, I find myself on Sundays with one channel on the NFL Red Zone (Love this channel) and the other on the race to keep track of what is going on. I can do without all of the commentary about "the points if the race were to end now" and about how great JJ and the other Hendrick cars are. Honestly, there isn't a cloud in the sky, why would the race "end now"?
