Don't forget about "swamp logging" or becoming an "ice road trucker"!
Both of those take some incredible equipment, which Robby could produce in his spare time.....
Why does Robby register and plate all of his vehicles in Arizona? I know California has very strict emissions regulations but is there more to it than that? Robby says "C'mon now, All cars need to be registered in Arizona" ?
Yeah I thhimk its CA emissions. I know He has a house in Parker AZ and does a lot of his off road testing in Parker.

California would pry charge a $1000 bucks or something crazy, Arizona $17, jk- I don't know just guessing, I just paid a $148 first time cell phone ticket out here in Cali.-GOOD time's, guess this weather ain't cheap
In Parker you don't have emissions. You just Register a vehicle and pay for the tags. Only place in AZ that requires emissions is in Phoenix and Tucson Areas.
It is very easy to register anything is AZ. Many people register their buggy's, where as in Cal you could not do it. Plus the cost in AZ is much cheaper and I believe smog test are only required in Phoenix and Tucson. I'm sure someone on here from AZ can confirm this. (Edit: Combo verified what I thought)
I was excited when my wife's parents were looking to buy a house at the river. I was planning on registering all my cars at the river house address. Due to the economy the river house was put on hold. Who knows maybe next year? A course then I have to convince them what I want to do is ok!
It is NOT cheap to register a car here in Az. My father keeps his RV registered in Cali, only $1,00 a year. AZ gets $1,800 a year. Robby is able to register in AZ because of the emissions
