You will probably park on the west side of the track. Wear good walking shoes... especially if you are sitting on the hill. If you are on the hill, you will be in the sun and looking into the sun longer than anyone else. .Sunscreen, shades and water would be a good idea. I am a fan of riding a bicycle from the parking lot or campgrounds to the track. Be careful near the vendor trailers on the bike. Huge crowds and a few drunk people may impede your progress. The Bashas on site will have everything you need as far as domestics go... as long as you don't mind lines. All in all, I think it's a great spectator facilty, despite the rap they get for not being very modern. Have fun..

park on outsise lots not to close walk in and out it is much easer to get out

If you park in general parking to the west your best bet is to bring a post race tailgate set up... Wait and hour and leave... Otherwise you will only get home 15 minutes earlier having sat in long lines of traffic to exit... Its nice and comfy on a late Saturday night in AZ this time of year, enjoy the stars and don't try to be the first one out... The big white tent in the parking area normally has live music or something going on after the race, enjoy it and you will be a happy person instead of an angry honking the horn one....
