Arie is in for the 2013 SST series. Check out his web / donation page. Good luck Arie.

Arie, best known for IndyCar and Indy Lights, has a new passion: Stadium Super Trucks. He wants to take all of you on-board with him during the 2013 racing season.

By offering sections of the truck, friends, fans and supporters can upload a 1X1 inch photo that will be placed on Arie's racing truck. You could ride along with Arie into victory lane in this exciting platform of off-road racing.

The overall budget for Stadium Super Trucks is in the millions but this portion of the budget will guarantee Arie’s seat for the 2013 season. Weekly racing blogs and videos, fan meet and greets, ride alongs and hospitality at the racing events are just a few ways Arie will give back to his contributors. Help him achieve his first full-time ride since his impressive 2008 Indy Lights season.

"Doing what you love is most important and racing is my life, my passion. The thrill I get when I’m racing is indescribable. I’ve always wanted to be able to better share that experience with the fans. I think with this initiative a part of everyone will be right there racing for the win with me. Sharing in the extreme highs of winning races and visiting victory circle. But also in the extreme lows of our sport—mechanical failures and frustrations from lack of results. We’ll be in it together as a team. Thank you in advance and see you at a Stadium Super Truck this season!" -Arie

So what drivers have committed to driver the whole season? And are there some drivers who are interested in trying SST for a race or two? Or do you have to committ to a whole season? Other than Lofton and Arie, im not sure who else is gonna be racing.

I think Arie is the only officially confirmed entry as of right now. I expect a few more press releases shortly. Wouldnt be surprised to see Ricky Johnson and a few other bigger names be announced. Season starts off soon!

waiting on the announcement's, it's still early

Copy, Thanks. I just assumed you would see McGrath and Deegan. I just see this series getting more coverage and being more lucrative for drivers and sponsors than other off road series. That being said I am from the Northwest and really don't know squat about off road/ Stadium racing. Cheers

@El, I'm with you.Robby has no reason to come to the Northwest.

Too small a market I take it.

narrow weather window,IMO

2 questions. 1) Why nothing on the East Coast? I thought they were made in N.C?2) In off road series like TORC or LOORS is it the norm for each driver to have a tire deal or would it be unusual to have 1 tire sponsor for the series?

Atlanta is near the East Coast...

In all fairness,IMO ,this is a first year deal. Some stadiums many have aready had their 2013 schedules before Robby even announced the series.

?-1 think Robby is trying to go where MTEG worked 1st then maybe expand after that .

?-2 most drivers in TORC / LOORS each have a tire deal depending on what sponsors they have
