American racing pioneer and NASCAR legend, Robby Gordon, is bringing his popular new Stadium Super Trucks Series to next year’s Clipsal 500 Adelaide in an Australian first.
The 2015 Clipsal 500 will be the first time these 650 horsepower V8 trucks will compete for points outside North America.
See the trucks race side-by-side and tackle huge jumps taking the trucks over six meters in the air and up to 45 meters down Adelaide's famous street circuit.

Too expensive to take a real SST down just for an announcement but he'll load 'em up on a plane like CART used to and put on a hell of a show. Formula Off Road is World Famous now!
Sounds like this is building momentum! I am surprised that Mexico wasn't the first market outside the U.S. that the series was to visit, but what do I know.
It was probably hard for RG to find a venue for SST in Mexico at the moment. Maybe more money to make in Australia and customs ?$
I remember Mike. I know he has a giant following in Mexico so it just seamed natural for that to be the first international race. I would imagine the cost to send the show to Australia so the return must be just as large!!
there you go being all technical and stuff.
Mexico is saturated with off-road races ... why would they watch a stadium race? ... like selling a dozen ice cubes ... to an Eskimo ... in December ... jeje
I'm glad Australia got the gig ... U.S.A. vs Oz ...
