when just a kid 10 or 12 or so, hung out at Ohare raceway next to airport now long gone. At one race Fred Lorenzen in a brand new shiney 58 Ford was putting on quite a show, so between heats my pal and I went into the pits (open to all and no charge ) while looking and hanging all over Mr lorenzen's brand new race car and schratching it with zippers on our coats Fredie came up and kicked my ass and lifted me 3 feet in the air and said quote ( get the fuck away from my race car) been a ford fan since, but just can't get into todays bunch, kinda makes me think something Robby would do back then..... just me kinda thinking out loud..........
