Bob Gordon,Ryan Arciero,Mike Parsons & Jay Hooker to run the Mexican 1000 (a nostalgia race)

I, was camping in the California high desert (Johnson Valley) and came across Bob Gordon & friends shaking down their buggy that will run a race from Mexicali to La Paz over a three day period, April 28 thru May 2, 2010 go to www.mexican1000.com for more info.

 

    Also over heard a cool story about Robby during the Polaris presentation to about 40 Polaris dealers in Parker,AZ....

I meet Ryan's brother Rob a few weeks back he was fun to talk to he and his brother grew up with Robby.

with out trying to bore you with the details...
quite simply Bob was driving the 700 hp 4 seat prerun buggy and Robby was in a 800 cc Razor and Bob was surprised to look over and see Rob right along side of him in a really ruff section of a trail theyre both familiar with.
Of course the prerun buggy just soaked up the ruts and bumps, but that razor Rob was piloting bucked to the point that every launch was nearly an endow but Robby managed to pull it off. Bob said He had to let Robby go on ahead of him.
Bob acually Thought he was far enough ahead of Robby.
"That's what I get for thinking "! he says
its one of those you had to be there moments
