Brian Ickler

Well Ron Hornaday's dumb-ass wrecked our boy Brian Ickler out of the Toyota All-Star Showdown tonight...He was absolutely dominating at the time--he had led over 100 laps. But the whole crowd booed Hornaday pretty good, which is really saying something for a SoCal crowd.

But the main point of my post was to ask whether anyone knew if Ickler was going to run anymore races for Robby this year in Nationwide? He's clearly ready to graduate from Camping World East.

I know it was crazy...the collective "OHHHH!!!!" of the crowd drowned out the cars themselves haha

Glad you enjoyed it JoCo. If you don't mind my asking, where did you sit? I am a semi-regular at the track...probably hit about 20 races a year there. I hope you make it back out to the track in the future. Opening night is always good, so is the 4th of July Camping World West race/Fireworks show. Those are never miss nights for me.

I think it was Section 6...two sections to the right of the start/finish (when looking at the track). Right about where the grandstand stairs put you, a row or two in front of where the awning extends to.

I noticed there's no bad seat in the place to speak of, it's a great track.

I was planning on going back for more short-track action when possible--good fun for cheap
